Please no more talk of Smash 5

It's not happening anytime soon. Video games aren't made over night. This game took years to make. I suppose it's fine if you're talking about it hypothetically. But stop acting like it's right around the corner. We still have Smash 4. If you're not satisfied...oh well.

    pretty sure brawl was supposed to be the last game, and he said this was the last smash bros but always he'll make another in 8 years

    @Eli: For the love of everything, Sakurai NEVER said that neither Brawl nor Smash 4 were the last Smash games. The man got misquoted both times. It's true though that we'll have to wait a while for Smash 5. Even though there are still rumors of a NX port of Smash 4. We'll probably be smarter in a few weeks or so about that.

    I think this game is going to be released again on the NX with all the patches and DLC included and that we get SSB5 for the console and handheld after the NX.

    Smash has never skipped a console. I think it'll hit New Nintendo 3DS and NX around 2018-2020 (middle of NX lifecycle)

    No says we aren't happy about Smash 4. We are we're all just looking forward to the future of Smash all us Smash fans want a Smash 5 so of course a little discussion here and there is fine.

    I half agree, I just can say is too soon to talk about a new Smash and is stupid talk about more content/DLC for a simple rumor (Smash NX) by the way #ShantaeFor5mash

    we have had smash 4 for a long time, and I don't know about you, but Nintendo likes to make 1 in every franchise about every 2 years. If you ask me smash 5 is long overdue. If there is a smash 5 around the corner than it is probably still in the planning stage, and will be released short after the release of the NX.

    @DaBigBacon: Every 2 years?! 64->1999, Melee->2001, Brawl->2008, 4->2014. It's not every 2 years. Every installment gets bigger, and takes more time to develop. We're not overdue for Smash 5. It's gonna be awhile. As for Smash NX, it's likely a port of 4. As they are going to port Zelda, Splatoon, and few other titles as well. It only makes sense.
