What I think would be interesting for Zelda Wii U/ NX is a rival who really hates you at the beggining of the game and could even do battle with you. But throughout the game they become a friend. You can even make a plot twist like the rival dies. In the end its up to you Nintendo.

    Oh, I remember playing Okami. Waka was pretty interesting. That'd be pretty great! Rivals in video games tend to make the story more interesting, so I'm open to that.
