藤森地区開発記　大学建設にあたって、瓜野線の竹茶駅が改築されました。竹茶駅からは将来、地下鉄が走る予定です。なので、大学ができて利用客が増えるこの機会に駅を改築することになりました。2面3線の7両対応のホームになりました。利用客は以前の300人から大幅に増え、2300人になりました。
