If You Been Playing Super Smash Bros. Since:

- Since the first game, that would make you an old timer. - Since Melee, that would make you an old timer. - Since Brawl and Sm4sh, that would make you a young whippersnapper! Lol! I was playing Super Smash Bros. since the release of Super Smash Bros. 64, (In a old person's voice) I'm a old fogey! Lol!

    I played the original and Melee, but I wasn't really old enough to start getting decent until about Brawl.

    I started in Smash 64, I saw the commercial on T.V, I bought the game the next day. Fast forward to today, Mega Man vs. Cloud never gets old.

    @ Dr. Nope I remember seeing that Super Smash Bros. 64 commercial since 1999! Good times! I wish that Nintendo, Sora Inc., and Hal Laboratory Inc. have a commercial similar to that one.

    Well, i did first play Melee at a friend's house. However my first Smash game i bought was Brawl. (But i still prefer Melee). I also played Smash 64, like 5-6 years ago.

    I disagree with the Melee part because there was a pretty large gap of time between the releases of Melee and Brawl. I'm pretty sure my nephews were first exposed to the series in Melee. I on the other hand have been into the series since nearly when the original game was released and am indeed old.

    Yea, I started with 64. I thought Link was the coolest character, although coming straight off of Ocarina of Time, some things didn't make sense (having the Boomerang, Crouch Stab isn't D-Tilt, Hylian Shield is useless, etc.). I thought he was awesome in Melee because he had a working shield and the Bow. Brawl, I just played with my friends in a nooby way. Now, I know him like the back of my hand.

    I first played melee at a relatives house when I was seven and was obessed with the game but I didn't play it again until got brawl for myself when I was...twelve?
