藤森地区開発記　さて、大学建設で鉄道にも変化がありました。広川大学藤森キャンパスの学生寮に隣接している、No.1赤字路線「瓜美線」の北野郷駅ですが、駅舎を改築し、さらに便利になりました。駅舎を改築した理由は、大学ができる前まで大自然の中にあった北野郷駅の駅舎は、もちろん仮乗降場を使っていました。しかし、このままでは北野郷駅を利用する学生で駅が溢れかえってしまうので、駅舎を改築、ついでにホームも5両対応にしました。改築後の利用客は以前の150人から大幅に増え、400人になりました。
