TBH, I wouldn't get too optimistic this E3. Nintendo has made it clear that there won't be a digital event, and the NX won't be revealed until AFTER E3. With that said, a treehouse event is better than nothing at all, but none of the confirmed games appeal to me honestly. I'm hoping for a Nintendo Direct after E3, but It's not wise to keep fingers crossed. Sorry Nintendo, but I'm passing this E3.

@Josh: That doesn't sound likely. I think that there will be a Nintendo Direct all about the NX on September 14th, 2016, exactly a year following Tatsumi Kimishima's presidential promotion. I imagine him discussing the system, how it differs from Wii U & 3DS, it's release date & pricing, it's launch lineup, and maybe the future of Nintendo as an establishment.

(cont.) The future of Nintendo is looking to be strong. They're releasing mobile titles with DeNA, have a Universal theme park planned, and are planning to make movies and anime, and hardware/software still being their main industry. It sounds like Kimishima is transforming Nintendo into a Disney-esque establishment, which is going to be a very strong benefit.
