You know...

We give For Glory a bad reputation for sure, but weed past the noobs and trolls and you can find respectable players who appreciate the effort you've put into learning your character. I know a lot of you only ever run into these BM players, but it feels good to meet someone with skill. Why not share an experience? Who's the best (in both skill and manners) FG player you've fought?

  • I came across this really cool guy I forgot his tag but he only used Little Mac and I will say he was amazing as Little Mac and he was one the only times I had to stop trying to exploit Mac's weakness and fight him head on

  • A very excellent Mac, then. Those are pretty fun! You can just tell they know what they're doing when they're: -Not abusing the C-stick. -Being patient. -Tilt (and even air!) comboing. -Spacing out every attack perfectly.

  • Yeah It was obvious he knew what he was doing using D-Tilt to get off some combos and high damage, never thought about going offstage and yeah he was very patient like he could wait for Days

  • I've only ever fought a good Little Mac once, and let me tell you, that's a scary character when the player has some skill. I especially love when you see the Up Tilt to Jolt Haymaker or Rising Uppercut combo. Or even a Mac that utilizes grabs! It's random but I kind of wish he had a kill throw.

  • I wish he had a decent recovery.

  • Yeah the character is scary to fight even put in the right hands instead of Mac players who Jolt Haymaker off the stage or abuses the C-Stick and I just wish he had a combo throw since Mac has plenty of moves that can kill so a combo throw wouldn't hurt

  • Well while it's not the greatest (obviously) he still has a great wall jump and you can sacrifice KO Punch for some good horizontal distance. But, yea.

  • Well, if I remember, Down Throw to Rising Uppercut is a true combo. On some characters, it's even a kill setup.

  • I've done it before, but it's hard to do in certain stages.

  • Yeah his Wall Jump does give him some good distance and from my experience using KO Punch to recover can risky considering the ending lag of the attack so it only becomes useful for recovery if your at a High Diagonal angle and to be honest I think Mac players need to learn to use Slip Counter to recover when going to get edgeguarded

  • Yeah but that's only one setup like what if Mac had a combo throw setup into his aerials, tilts and even Smash attacks

  • Well what if he had something like Forward Throw to Jolt Haymaker?

  • Something like that could work I just want his throws to be utilize more for combos since Mac doesn't have much combo options

  • My matches with a guy named Mr. Painy were just amazing. I only used Ganondorf and he only used R.O.B. Few words were exchanged, but there was style everywhere. Every moment was hype. And on the plus side, since R.O.B is a horrid matchup for Ganon, I learned how to deal with losing matchups AND how to get Ganon past projectiles. It was an all around great experience.

  • I'm one of those that find good people more than bad people. It's really fun to fight them since they're really creative sometimes.

  • For me it was this that mains Sheik. We went back and forth on who win. Plus this guy was really nice, and we were saying to each other "GG", "NICE", "NICE READ", "URGOOD", etc...

  • I've always thought that Little Mac should have bad airgame OR recovery, not both.

  • I came across this mii with the tag "ASH KETCHUP" who used Shulk, and he obliterated my Bayonetta. Didn't even take a stock off of him.

  • @Quincy ah yes, that's why a lot of people don't have good MU experience against foes like R.O.B. It's hard to find one that doesn't just charge Gyro and shoot Lasers. @Thoron I know, it's me too. I've run into one kid who tried getting under my skin, but I just ended up laughing to the point of crying. Lol. @Filip I've found those players too. It brightens my day. If any of you do this, kudos.

  • @Giratina I love when people are amazing as Shulk because his learning curve is not exactly easy and his frame data is an issue almost not worth touching the character for. But being able to hold himself against Bayonetta, what a feat!
