Info on Bob-ombs!

Bob-ombs have been a dangerous item since the first Super Smash Bros. I recently took some time in Training Mode to figure out how they work. I used a stopwatch and set the speed to "¼ (Hold L)".

    Bob-ombs have a ten-second timer. Its timer is separate from its fuse. The timer starts when one of two things happen: 1. It appears, falls to the ground, and finishes its landing. 2. It gets caught in midair after appearing. When it lands, it will stay put for three seconds, walk around for four seconds, then stop and detonate three seconds later.

    If you catch a fresh Bob-omb before it lands, you could try hanging onto it for a few seconds. Then, throw it into the hands of an opponent that's good at catching items. It's bound to go off in their face if you can time it right! A lot easier said than done, of course! Timing it right in the heat of battle won't be easy. And Bob-ombs don't like sudden jolts. Get hit, and... Well, you know! XD

    Bobombs also magically spawn for the CPU to grab and toss at you.

    Sometimes, they spawn in front of me while I'm charging a Smash Attack. Same goes for Cuccos.

    I once saw a CPU jump for no reason, and it air dodged to catch a bobomb as it spawned.
