    shurikens have low mt though and not everything is a beast unit, really the only place anti beast weaponry is extremely useful is conquest chp19, anywhere else they're outclassed by the all around good weapons

    Low might, yes. Though remember, debuffs + range 1-2 + skill procs and crits = Overpowered. Try fighting against shurikens. Even more so in PvP/Postgame. Maingame, they equal tomes in viability.

    ...Unless they miss, debuff skills like dragonic hex debuff regardless of your accuracy. So it depends on who has it.

    We could say all weapons aren't strong if they simply miss. But the most common shuriken wielders, maids and master ninjas, tend not to, unless they are CPU garbage in the story mode. And if draconic hex is involved, the spy shuriken users with that skill are even more overpowered. Hell, even kagero's dart with that skill is ridiculous. There isn't enough penalties for shuriken weapons.

    the penalty is the really low mt, debuffs aren't as viable lategame or in pvp when it's all about killing in 1 attack

    amibo weapons certainly have an edge. Probably due to their ease of grinding. But the "rare" weapons like the killer weapons can rival em. Or stuff like horse spirit.
