not e3 related but does anyone know if i can play xenoblade chronicles and pandoras tower from the vutural consol with just the game pad or do i need the wii mote? :(

    if the game supported a classic control option, u can play it directly on the pad...i have pandoras tower and its a great fit for off tv play on the pad

    If you buy the games in the eShop, then, yes, they have been adapted and you can play with just the Wii U control pad (i don't recomend it with Pandora Tower, but it works); if you plan on using the wii games (the discs), then, no, you will need a wii remote and a nunchack or classic controller.
