I get the feeling that I have a monster of a unit in my hands when I re-recruited my amiibo. One single campaign run of any path with even ONE amiibo unit in your team means it can be a force to be reckoned with in other runs. I'm at Conquest chapter 12 (and at Birthright chapter 16), and my Lucina is at around level 40 at this point.
