(Exactly XD) Xerok's amber eyes flash and he winces. "Looks like you've got a broken rib," he says. Dante lets out a huff. "I have to go find him," he says, not listening to his brother. Xerok raises an eyebrow. "Who?" "X," Dante says. Blu crosses her arms. "If he doesn't want to be with us he doesn't have to," she says. She lets out a sigh, remembering how X had called them a family earlier.

"That's a nice watch you have there." X looked up at one of the three muggers. He got up and slipped on his jester's mask. A knife slipped into his palm. "Oh, come on." One said. "It's three against one, how could you ever hope to-" X stepped into the shadows. He flanked all three, pickpocketing each one and slipping away.

"And anyway, you're in no condition to be running about," Xerok says, getting up from his chair. He goes and stands behind Dante, gently skimming the scratches with his fingers. "He's like a little brother to me now," Dante mutters. Blu tosses a pouch of knives on the table and exits the room. Xerok jumps when he hears a huge crash. "Trey, go make sure she doesn't kill anyone." Trey dashes off.

(What's Blu doing?) Walking down the sidewalk X heard a cry of,"HEY! MY WATCH!" He took a turn into the park. He slipped off his jester's mask and sheathed his knife. X slipped the valuables into his pockets. At least tonight had not been completely without benefit. X climbed the nearest tree. He lay down and looked up at the stars that littered the night sky. He closed his eyes finally relaxing.

(Currently destroying anything of value in the room next door) Zanek watches Blu silently. She had only done this once before, when she had lost her best friend in a car accident. He looks back at Xerok and Dante and lets out his breath. "Xerok, since you're the only one able-bodied and in their right mind, you'll be in charge while I'm gone," he says. Without another word he runs out the door.

(Haha, lol! Also, that last paragraph above confused me. Who was talking and who ran out the door? I need to know! Oh, and another thing: Why is Blu breaking stuff?) X twirled a knife in between his fingers. His eyes were empty. He put the knife away and hung by his legs. He sighed, and let himself fall, twisting in midair and landing lightly on his feet. He headed back onto the path.

(Zanek spoke and ran, out to look for X, Blu has anger issues and is currently unstable after X leaving) "Hey," Xerok says, watching Blu slumped against the wall. "Zanek went out to find him." Xerok sits down next to her and grabs her hand. "It'll be alright," he whispers. Blu rests her head against his shoulder. "I'm tired. Physically and mentally," she murmurs. "I think we all are," says Xerok.

(Okay. Hopefully, I'll ask no more questions.) X walked along the path down to a sandy beach. Why was he so restless? Usually he'd be exhausted after a long night like tonight. But he just wasn't. He sat down in the sand. 'So boring....', He thought as he picked up a handful of sand and watched it fall in between his fingers. He lay down in the sand, this time actually trying to relax.

Zanek finally found him. X was at the beach. He crept up slowly, his head lowered. "I'm sorry about all that earlier," he says. X doesn't reply. "I'm not perfect. I never will be. I just worry about my family's problems more than my own." He stuffs his hands in his pockets. "I understand that you're mad at me. You won't have to see me again." With that, he turned and went up the slope.

X heard Zanek's voice. He got up, and walked over to the slope. "I'll take your apology into consideration. I just...need time." His voice was empty. "I'll come back once I'm ready. Tell them not to come looking for me unless they want a knife up their nose." With that, he walked up the slope past Zanek. (X is planning to stay away for about a week, so naturally, they should ignore his warning.)

(I didn't get a notif lol four posts left) Zanek stops. "I'm not going back," he whispers. "I can't stand watching my friends get hurt. I'm leaving the city tomorrow." Blu curls up next to Xerok. "I hope they're okay," she whispers. Xerok rubs her back. "Don't worry, they'll be back before you know it. Teenagers like X are always moody," he says with a grin.

(Still waiting for a response about if they should still go looking for him. Plus Zanek's probably gonna randomly vanish.) X gave no sign that he had heard Zanek. He approached the tree he'd been in earlier and climbed up. He closed his eyes and fell asleep. The next day, X resumed taking jobs that payed. He never revealed his face to his employers, making sure it was hidden behind his mask.

Blu had fallen asleep near the front door of the hideout. Zanek had never returned. She opens her eyes slowly. Xerok was standing above her, he was pulling on a jacket. "What's going on?" she murmurs. Xerok looks down at her. "Dante's resting and Trey and I are going to go looking for Zanek and X. Neither of them returned," he explains. She jolts up. "I'm coming with you," she states. (There!)

(Thank you. XD) X was heading to the rendezvous point to meet up with his new employer. He turned into a dark alleyway where a small man dressed in an expensive looking suit was flipping a coin. "You the one I called for?" He asked. X nodded. "Good. I need you to break into a place called Camelot Manor. The guy you're gonna kill is called Jason Camelot." He continued. X nodded, and left.

Blu starts to run, but Xerok grabs her wrist. "Wait," he says. "X probably will be a bit hostile, so just be careful. I can't believe I'm actually letting you come along." Blu scowls. "I'll be fine," she says. "I'm experienced." She runs off. Xerok shakes his head slowly. "Never said you weren't," he whispers.

"Hey buddy, I wasn't done talking!" X heard his employer call. It wasn't like he cared. He already knew who Jason Camelot was and where he lived. It took ten minutes for him to walk there and about ten seconds for him to successfully get inside the house. Very poor security. The job was quick and easy. Once he'd returned and gotten his payment, X noticed how close the others hideout was.

(Only Dante's at the Wolf Pack hideout currently, the others are already across town) Dante awoke and struggled to make breakfast. He huffs. Broken ribs suck, that's for sure. "If Xerok tries anything with Blu," he mumbles while eating his cereal. He places the bowl in the sink and lies down on the couch, grimacing at the pain.

Once X left the alleyway, he felt uneasy. Like something or someone was nearby. He jumped into a tree, using the environment to hide him. Trees weren't shadows, but they'd have to do. Then, he saw them. Blu, Xerok, and Trey were walking out the door of their hideout. X tensed. He'd gotten better at stealth. That was probably due to the fact that X had taken multiple assassination jobs in one day.

But why were they out? 'Unless Zanek hadn't given them the warning, they wouldn't be out, right?' He thought. The others were drawing near. X stopped thinking and eyed them like a cat stalking its prey. They passed under the tree. X chipped off a piece of bark and threw it across the street. The oldest trick in the book, but it worked. At least on Trey. Trey turned his head towards the noise.

Trey eyed the piece of bark warily and grabbed onto Xerok's sleeve. Xerok turned. "What?" he mumbled. Trey pointed to the bark. Xerok looked over at the tree, his eyes flashing. He signaled to Blu. "He's up there," he whispered. Blu looked up in the tree and crossed her arms. (New post)
