    Marth. His sword's ¨top¨ does more damage but another parts does lower. Lucina's sword does damage ¨normally¨ i hope you understand my bad english :)

    Competitive Consensus says it's Marth, because of his Tipper mechanic that encourages spacing

    Either one is a good character but Marth having slighty better range, safer options (spaced moves, shieldstun), and kills earlier when using his tipper. Lucina has better consistent killing, but doesn't get as much payoff from spacing.

    Technically speaking, Marth is automatically better and more rewarding, but Lucina is easier to use.

    in terms of attack power Marth has the advantage espically with the tipper mechanic and range whereas Lucina attacks come out quicker but are weaker and the damage is the same no matter what point of the sword touches the opponent counter wise Marth has a better counter than Lucina in terms of utility and when it comes to mobility Lucina has an advantage but overall Marth is a better fighter
