Been way too long...

I actually played this on the SNES years ago when I was a kid... though I've forgotten where all of the ports are. I want to do jobs, but my ship is way too slow. Where are the good jobs at the beginning of the game, or rather with the beginning equipment?

  • I've been wanting to play one of these games for years. Almost grabbed the nes version but I might get this one instead

  • Even though the game aged poorly, I still remember having a lot of fun with it. The SNES version is the better of the two. Also, getting paid for relics and scientific discoveries is key to early-game money grinding.

  • Ok thank you! I love the old school graphics that snes and nes had. I'm an old head lol. So is this game better then the other snes uncharted waters (nes remake)? I might grab if tonight and start it.

  • The only other one I know of is on the NES. I would think Uncharted Waters: New Horizons is a sequel, but I'm not sure. It is the one I played extensively.

  • They remade uncharted waters on snes also. I'll be starting my adventure in this game tonight! Kinda reminds me of AC black flag with more to do. I've watched some videos in this game and it's right up my alley! Any advice?

  • > Don't sail out too far too early. > Find out the best trade routes for your character for the early, mid, and late game. > Secure relics and science discoveries for your country. > If you want to avoid pirates, don't make your ships and cargo too enticing. > Upgrade your armor and weapons just as if you were playing a jrpg. > Enjoy the journey and don't worry about the final destination.
