Canonically strongest?

Who do you guys think is the strongest character within their own canon. Like if they all fought using their strongest abilities from their own games who would win? I think it's a contest between Pit/Dark Pit and Bayonetta myself. Shulk is severely overrated. For one thing his future sight only works on people from his own universe.(If you ask I'll explain.)

    your only proof for pit's speed is a hypothesis on how fast he got to a couple of stars.(nothing is ever outright stated and stars may work diffrently for them). as for Sonic I used the reeboot comics which are similer to the game since like pit super sonic's strength is never fully stated but in unleashed he is clocked at over 3000mph in base form.

    Dark pit is also a noncontender as he lacks acces to all pit's weapons and the great sacred treasures.

    Chaos control does completley stop time as shown in SA2 multiplayer, Metal Sonic's final boss fight in Heroes and the Boss fights of Shadow the headgehog, plus they can warp things with it too.

    Dark Pit has access to all of Pit's weapons except the great sacred treasure. You see him switch constantly throughout the story. He picks them up just like Pit does. They even lampshade it. Comics don't count but I looked it up myself and with Chaos Control sonic can actually not only stop time travel through it. With that ability he can definitely beat both Pit's.

    Plus other characters have better accomplishments as Pits's biggest feat was a very close battle with hades that he only won because Hades was holding back and being overconfident.

    you fight dark pit 3 times and each time he only has a diifrent variation of a bow which is a very small arsenal as unlike Pit he dosn't have a godess feeding powers to him. in total dark pit only has like 4 weapons and no ultra powerups like the other smash cast do.

    in unleashed evertime you pass a checkpoint it clocks your speed with the cap beeing 3000mph

    plus in unleashed Sonic said crossing contenents is nothing more than "an easy job" and in Generations sonic runs fast enough to reset reality to it's normal state after the time eater destabalized it. once again in just base

    No, Dark Pit was definitely using a staff to snipe you in one chapter and I need to check but in the chapter you can control him I'm pretty sure he can use any weapon. He's also fast enough to beat almost anyone on the roster anyway. There reason to believe he's that fast, there's no reason to assume he isn't. Either way I'm not discussing that any more since you won't listen, but I'd say

    And there's no reason to assume he doesn't have access to Pit's weapons when Pit obtains them from the enemies he defeats and chests. Dark Pit fights the same enemies and visits the same areas.

    Dark pit being faster than anyone on the roster is a streatch since Sonic is what he is. Plus kirby still has the broken warpstar, Mario can ourun blackholes, and bayonetta effortlessly dodges point blank bullets.

    All right my posts are exhausted for the day. I'll end by ssying that the only good point you made was about Chaos control. That includes all the other characters you mentioned except maybe Kirby.

    before I forget pit didn't fly to the moon in seconds he flew to viridi's base built to look like a moon which was still in the atmospher of the earth since there was clouds around it.

    @Andrew: That's why I said close to the moon. Duh. Duck Hunt dog is literally invincible but we haven't seen him fight in canon. Probably a good thing too...scary thought.
