    Clones are basically the results of Sakurai and his team lacking development time and ressources to bring more life and assets into the fighters. This is my main ire toward clone characters, but those that have been around for a while fortunately have showed a great deal of development in their moveset and expressions. Luigi is the greatest example of this.

    If every fighter fought the exact same with each move set doing the same damage, there would be no point in purchasing the game or even getting the DLC. 50+ fighters doing the exact same thing would be pointless and would get old really quick.

    im just saying. why do they need different movesets? "lucina could have used a lance" lucina has never used one. "dark pit could have used his staff" dark pit does use it in a final smash that no one else have
