help!

never played any of the series but looks cool, should i buy them??

Well, I would certainty recommend them. But prepare to suffer, 'cause those games are not playing around when it comes to difficulty. Each game is difficult in its own way. Ninja Gaiden I and II have enemies that keep respawning, and that annoying knockback when you get hit, and Ninja Gaiden III has enemies that are tougher and limited continues. But yeah, each game is great, too.

They have an addictive (and frustrating!) fast-paced gameplay, great graphics for the NES, and memorable music. And they're kind of the grandfather of today's cutscenes used for story-telling in console games, so it's always nice to go back to the roots.

If you liked Games like Castlevania, you will Love it. Ok it is harder than CV, but the Storytelling is fantastic! I finished Ninja Gaiden 1 and looking forward to the next 2 Games. If you are looking for a newer Game, I recommand Ninja Gaiden 3 - Razor's Edge for the Wii U.
