To all those people saying 'Buff the puff' can just stop. People who say this usually mean that they can't play a Jigglypuff that well, well just stop. take it from someone how loves to play Jiggs... SHE DOESN'T NEED A BUFF!!!

Jigglypuff is one of the worst character in the game. Poor running speed, shield stun patch, 3 special moves that are useless/extremely punishable(Rest, roll out, sing), and laggy laggy moves, especially up tilts. Her best move literally is back air, but everything else is just awful. You better not say "Any character is as good behind the right player".

The reason why I hate that quote is because it's straight nonsense. Look at 1.1.5 and 1.1.6. Exactly the same except one character is nerfed. Could you use that same statement knowing that? Definitely not. Stop thinking a character is good behind the right player. It's not true. Characters with better MU spread is far superior.

Ignoring the whole aspect of if she needs a buff or not. If your a puff player why you not want a buff?!? I'm a Mario main and think he is perfectly balanced. but if someone wanted to give him a buff I'd gladly take it! I don't care if giving him a back throw as powerful as Ness or up B as good as ZSS would make him broken. I would gladly body everyone and take their money >:]

It's not like jigglypuff is almost universally agreed to be the absolute worst character in the game or anything, or a skilled player like Hungrybox can't even take a set off a novice diddy while using her. oh wait thats exactley the case #BuffthePuff

"Buffs can make characters worse" You clearly don't understand what buffs or nerf means. Buffs means to make them better, not stronger. For example, Bowser's up throw knockback has increased, but it is known as a nerf so that it doesn't kill so darn early. Despite it being a knockback increase, it is still a nerf.

Bowser in 1.1.3 could have up throw to up air so easily. They nerfed it in 1.1.4 though so that it can still combo, but knock confirm so well.

if a "buff" makes a character worse that is called a Nerf. A buff increases viability a nerf decreases viability. if a throw gets more knockback its typically considered a buff. unless the purpose isn't to give it more kill power, but to limit your ability to combo; than it is a nerf while more knock back is technically an increase in power. what it effects lessens viability, so its a nerf.

A buff is an improvement but it can change the play style of a character and Jiggs's play style is fine and a buff sure it could make combos more easy but then people will start to complain about how easy she can get it which can lead into a nerf, and if there is no challenge there's no fun in getting the combos and they can get annoying like Bayo's death combo no one liked it cause it was to easy

Actually you're totally wrong, and you don't want to listen. Jiggs NEEDS a buff so she's better. And no, buffs don't change drastically a character's playstyle. Take a look at Luigi, my main, for example: his D-Throw was nerfed pretty badly, and his playstyle is still nearly the same as it was. So let me get this straight you don't want a buff because you think the way she is is fine.(nothing going for her except a decent ariel game not great it's only decent, and shield pressure your only going to get if your opponent isn't paying attention).and you don't want her to be slightly viable or able to function on her own because you can't be bothered to learn new combos.

And look at diddy Kong from 1.0.0 to 1.0.4 he was widely considered by many to be broken undesputed best character in the game But come patch 1.0.6 and 1.0.8 he was hit hard with heavy nerfs ruining his best kill moves, But even With all the huge nerfs he got, Diddy kong Is still A successful competitive character to this day with the likes of C3PO, Angel cortes, Zinoto, Mvd, and of course ZeRo.

Yes Jiggs's moves are made for off stage and aerial play (she's also the balloon pokemon so she kinda has to have a horrible shield and if you pop a balloon it goes flying) and as Yukari said "Jiggs is a GLASS CANNON" powerful yet fragile.
