【OEDO EXPRESS#24】「きつい、進まない、詰まる」前回の続き。江戸急で特急以外の種別が設定出来なかったうえ、サブタイトルのように3拍子揃った理由、それは、江戸急新宿駅〜江戸急上原駅の区間が複線だったことにあります(その他の区間は複々線)。さらに、退避設備が明治駅のみであり、電車が詰まりやすかったこともあります。この区間を完全複々線化することにより、電車の詰まりが解消されると思われます。ということで、突貫工事スタート。
