Gamestop slashed the prices of them to 50 USD until July 10th. But if I absolutely cannot get a suitable pre-owned one, I'm getting the Yokai Watch bundle. I hear it has a 'suitable' system update.

Well, I wish you luck on your journey. I'd recommend a refurbished one from Nintendo's website (as they have come on suitable firmware versions on 4 out of 4 occasions), but they're currently out of non-MK7 bundles, and adding the shipping cost to those makes it cost more than the Yo-Kai bundle. So yeah.
