Another match I had in a set with Bluestreak. I REALLY need to pick up the habit of edgeguarding with Cloud's Up B. That Meteor Smash is insanely powerful.

  • Yeah, Cloud has three different meteor smashes at his disposal. My personal favorite is his d-air. I think his most risky spike would be his Climhazzard meteor smash. It can be hard to predict.

  • As far as I can tell doing Braver and then grabbing the ledge is pretty safe. I want to clarify that Bluestreak was Cloud. I might as well mention that Cloud is one of my most played characters. That's why when I saw Bluestreak doing this consistently it made me feel compelled to add that to my arsenal of options when playing as Cloud.

  • It's very useful in competitive play, as sometimes I use that option to cover my landing. Instead of hitting the ground, you'll sweet-spot the edge. What I'm working on is his ariel combos.

  • Hmmm... that reminds me of when I try to sourspot his Down Air into another aerial. It's VERY dependent on positioning but I still feel I should be able to follow-up with it more consistently.

  • He can follow up with ariel attacks very easily, since they're very quick at the start, and most of his ariels won't suffer end-lag, if you use it right. That's probably why his air game is really good.

  • Cloud is terrifying to challenge in the air. I don't think I have to go in-depth as to why.

  • Yeah, he can be pretty scary in the air. Even on the ground he's quick. I think his d-tilt is his most difficult attack to dodge on the ground.

  • Actually I personally think his Up Smash is the hardest grounded attack to challenge. It comes out quickly, has negligible cooldown, and the hitboxes on it are gigantic. Down Tilt is obviously VERY useful as well but it can be punished if shielded. Then again Limit Cross Slash is flat-out absurd.

  • Yep, limit Cross Slash starts quickly and ends quickly, making it a tough attack to avoid.
