    A JV3 is when you win without taking any damage on your second stock. If you with a 4 stock match without taking any damage, that would be a JV5 and so on...

    well it's like you technically three-stocked someone. but that's it, "technically" if you didn't take damage on your second stock, you "technically" three-stocked that person. that's why is a JV3.
