    I appreciate the advice, but my parents know I stay up really late all the time. And they know if I wake up in the middle of the night, I'd just go back to sleep. After almost 19 years, they know my sleep habits. I need a reason for why I stayed up all night and will most likely sleep through the entire morning. So I'll probably just tell them it's stress related.

    Welp, I tried to help. I only have the mindset of a teenager (mostly because I am one) yet I am smart enough to say, just as any concerning parent(s) they will ask you why, and you might say that it's school/work. That's all I got.

    I usually go to sleep around 2-5ish am, then I sleep for about 12 hours, sometimes more. I've been trying to get to sleep earlier because when school starts I have to wake up at 6ish am, but I can't fall asleep. Even if I get about 3 hours each night each week, I still can't sleep.
