    There's permanent ones and removable ones. I have a removable upper one and remembering to put it on after meals is way easier than rubber bands.

    lucky for me ive never had rubber bands i might've at a retainer once i don't remember what it was called it was this metal thing they put in the top of my mouth and every day i had to tighten it and now there's marks where it was in the roof of my mouth

    Ya know how your teeth are sore after first getting braces on or getting them tightened That's how rubber bands can make them feel like when put on for the first time or the first time in a while
