North America VC Release Date

So I live in the U.S. and recently I noticed that someone I follow from Canada has this on Virtual Console. Why on earth then isn't it available for me? Can someone fill me in? Thanks. Toon Link will be happy if you can help

    It's not in Canada, I live in Canada and I have been waiting for this game to come in North America. The person you follow probably has Homebrew where he can play games out of reigion
