I like how 99% of Nintendo fans hate everything thats not Nintendo, just look at the amount of people who hate Call of duty just because its name is Call of duty.

  • Also most Nintendo games are made to be kid friendly.

    Yeahs2
  • They dislike now but at the end they will end up buying it

  • My theory is, coming from a military family, that we should not glorify war in a video game like this. War is a necessary evil that should be respected. Real men and women go through these scenarios and by replaying their deaths like a game is disrespectful.

    Yeahs5
  • my respects to you matteo

  • I'm a Nintendo fan, and here's a small sampling of the stuff I like that isn't made by Nintendo: Left 4 Dead, SSX, Rocket League, Telltale Games, etc.

    Yeahs1
  • I think people are complaining about COD because its rushed out each year with only minor changes.

    Yeahs3
  • If they are going to make more CoD, they should take a year off like Assassins Creed. Also, don't think I dislike shooters. I like shooters that don't glorify war. Splatoon or Metroid, for instance. I don't think war should be a game for frat boys to get drunk over. This is coming from a grandson of a Vietnam veteran who has Agent Orange in his blood.

  • Yup. That's us Nintendo fans for ya.

    Yeahs3
  • THIS POST NEEDS MORE YEAHS.

    Yeahs0
  • And people need to realize there is more reasons to dislike CoD. Never use or mention war when unnecessary. War is an evil that will always remain with man, but we must not allow it to become a joke. The moment we become numb to war, we lose what makes us human.

    Yeahs0
  • Matteo, you do realize that Splatoon AND Metroid both glorify war, your argument is invalid.

    Yeahs0
  • They do not glorify war. Metroid is space Sci fi. Splatoon is basically paintball. The difference is that these two games' scenarios will never happen in war. CoD's missions are all too real for our men and women in uniform.

    Yeahs1
  • War is a necessary evil. As long as people have emotions, there will be conflict of any kind. If we didn't have emotions, we wouldn't be human. This is why The Doctor fights the Cybermen. This is why The Avengers fight Ultron. I'm sorry for going on a philosophical rant.

    Yeahs2
  • I like more than just Nintendo games--but Call of Duty is probably the worst game you could have chosen to appeal to Nintendo fans. It's crude, uninteresting, and full of set pieces. What are set pieces? They're scripted events that allow only the tiniest bit of interaction from the player. It's too bad something like Portal has never made it to a Nintendo console.

    Yeahs2
  • "Metroid is a space sci-fi" that has nothing to do with this topic, in metroid you Kill space pirates aka are in war against them, And you try to drive a whole species extinct. And Splatoon still holds the concept of war, which is to take enemys land and demolish any resistance. It just in child friendly form to fool people to think it's OK.

    Yeahs0
  • Also you preaching about how war isn't OK (and it isn't) ain't even the basis of the original topic to begin with.

    Yeahs0
  • Ugh, there is just no way with you, is there? Point is they are not realistic. The reason I said what I did about war is because CoD makes us numb to war. I'm leaving this debate, because I know a lost cause when I see it. Strap on some boots, soon, OK?

Call of Duty is the same each 6 months for me, same weapons, same scenario, same dlc price in which you might as well buy the game again. Halo's awesome but part 5 lost me when splitscreen was taken off. Wish Metroid would stick with exploration but kind of go the Halo way when talking about online multiplayer, just imagine that for instance.

    Yeahs0
  • Also I'm a Nintendo fan, and I do like to play other games.
