Who thinks Pit deserves more respect?

Who's with me that Pit deserves more respect? All those people who haven't played Kid Icarus: Uprising all hate him and Palutena. Play KIU and you'll be wanting more of Pit and his adventures (like me). Oh and Pit is powerful on his own, he didn't have Palutena's help in chapter 23, he still beat the boss.

    yes, all the way. i main pit and i think he does great on all aspects, from his character to his movesets.

    OH. That. Pretty much every support community has anti-support messages. Support Olimar has it the worst IMO. Don't pay attention to those angry kids in the community. I don't think they're real thoughtful opinions.

    @KitKat, the hate on Pit is real, and I mean, really real. I think it's the dramatic change from his Brawl Attitude to his Smash 4 Attitude. People don't like his voice, his personality, they think he's too weak, which I certainly disagree. Pit does have disadvantages when it comes to OP characters*cough*Bayonetta*cough cough*But overall, he's an improved character. In Brawl, he was a meh.

    @AnimeRed Instead of hating him, people should like him more as he's improved. I just don't get why they hate his voice and personality - it's what makes him Pit.

    I actually prefer Dark Pit over Pit because he's a lot more edgy and... less annoying? But still though, Pit is pretty cool.

    I don't really see that much hate in Pit. I see WAY MORE hate for Dark Pit. I don't hate either of them, as they're some of my mains! PIT & DARK PIT ARE BOTH AWESOME!

    @2weekban Bayo got nerfed. @Watermelon Totally agree. I like Dark Pit better too I think Pit gets too much respect. He's been in 3 games over 30 years. That's not iconic, it's just existent. He might be a good character, but regardless, he's on both box arts for Smash 4 right next to the mainstays: Mario, Link, Pikachu. Why is Pit so important that he needs to be front-and-center in both games?

    @Ryan, then why don't people respect Pit? He's on the cover because he's one of Nintendo's most iconic character. Oh, and the creator of Smash 4 made KIU. Have you even played KIU?

    He's iconic in KIU, that's for sure. I actually felt sad for him in chapters 18-21. And chapter 20 is just... I nearly felt like crying.
