Sega has confirmed a new Sonic game will be released in 2017, and it will be revealed next month.

Personally, I'm glad it's not coming out this year. This shows they really are taking their time with this one, which is a hugely encouraging sign. Also, this game will almost certainly be multi-platform, and my biggest fear was that it would be only on XB1 and PS4 and not on Wii U. A 2017...

    @Pickle Just looked it up again since I forgot the details myself. Apparently the head of Sonic Team confirmed it at a 25th anniversary event in Tokyo. They'll FINALLY reveal the game at that event they're having in San Diego on the 22nd. I'm so hyped! Only 9 days until we find out what it's going to be!

    Yeah boi!! It'll be great!! They've had..let's see...Lost World was 2013 right? So..3, soon to be 4 years of development time? How could a game that has been worked on for so long turnout bad?? If SEGA can pull this whole shebang off, and actually make an awesome game...oh...it'll be so good! Believe it or not this is actually the first game that I have actually followed since the get go...

    It's kind of embarrassing really...most every other game just sort of 'came out' and I was like "Oh, cool." That is not the case here...I have followed this game like a dog since rumors started surfacing, so I hope it was (and I think it will be) worth it.

    Aw that stinks, cuz I was gonna tell you about the uhh....upgraded.. Chaos I made using a special Chao editor. You can push their stats beyond there normal limits that you'd see in the games..needless to say it leads to some interesting results. Some are adorable ...and some are nightmares....
