It took multiple attempts and lots of frustration, but it's /finally/ been done. Gradivus is defeated. He disrupted my Overdrive twice by repeatedly launching and stunning my avatar, and he killed her several times during the battle. But my party's TP was high enough that Elma and H.B. were able to revive her each time. We finished strong with everyone having near perfect HP/TP. Go us.

Ok Rant time 1 The ending of his last affainty where killed the mother and then the her children see her remains and then he shoots them. (Player doing the same thing Doug did, but killed monsters more than he did could be said to any RPG.

Oh, you meant Vortice. Still unclear about which cannon you're referring to though, since the Hexad Partican and the Zenith Cannon both have a fuel cost of 1500. Doug didn't know the Caro had cubs until after he killed it to collect the bounty. Killing the cubs afterward was act of kindness, since they would've eventually starved without their mother (i.e. it was a mercy kill).

about the cannon: Ah. If you'd said you were talking about the Ares, I would've known what you meant. That's the Agashura. Doug and Gwin are in the same boat, 'cuz Hope and Irina are both clueless that either of them are even interested. So you've got nothing to worry about there.

I wish you could Lao back. Because that cliff hanger felt either unfinished or for a sequel Besides He and Boze are the only Snipers Party Members in the game.

The thing is, Hope is the only party member to bring a tear to my eye. Characters like Tatsu,L,Gwin, and Lin annoy me. Also Gwin can have Iriana, Hopes mine. ;)

@Pharis: Either add gravity resist augments to your Skell's armor, or just use a Lailah Q. It's Overdrive practically makes it immortal. Anyhoo, if you're interested in sniper builds, there's a guy named BETO that could help you with that, since he uses one himself. I prefer the assault rifle.

I use Hope, Celica, and Mia. There my favorite party members. I prefer Dual guns because of Ghost walker and Sky High.

Tips for vastly improving Elma --------------------------------- First and foremost, add Early Bird and Thirsty Edge to her Arts pallet. They're her best two auras. Early Birds grants her critical power and buffs her evasion at the same time, while Thirsty Edge heals her every time she lands a melee attack.

Second, give her leg gear that has Focused Evasion (you can farm it from Terenty, lv.77 Iclus tyrant in Cauldros) and upgrade it to XX. Then add a Focused Evasion XX augment. Each one buffs her evasion by 25% as long as she's in the enemy's melee range. Between Focused Evasion and Early Bird, the enemy can barely touch her most of the time. And with Thirsty Edge, she'll heal herself constantly.
