    Why should I, then, be on the ground unless my Skell is almost down? And yeah Shulk, i just happened to have Hope in the party. But I had to swap in capped Elma and Lin for the battle that followed.

    I should've brought L as well since Mind Storm comes in handy. I could use that myself but honestly there are enough Shield Knights that I decided to stick with my Longsword (I mastered Duelist and had a machine equipped but I changed during a test of a assault rifle and kept it that way)

    It's not my build, and it has a spoiler character (I think you know, though) but look up "Xenoblade Chronicles X 1 Million Hit Ether Blossom Dance Build" and pay attention to damage when overdrive count hits max. When I learned about infinite overdrive and builds like this, I learned that a skell might not always be the best option.
