    What do you mean? It's still being made, they're just focusing on marketing FFXV at the moment as it's not long til release.

    I know what you mean dude, very excited for it myself as the original is still my favourite JRPG. Square Enix have way too much on the go right now with that, XV and Kingdom Hearts III so I'd imagine the remake is a while off but hopefully the decision to split it into episodes means we'll get at least part of it soon(ish).

    Hopefully it'll be worth the wait! They've nailed the look, and being able to fully explore Midgar sounds brilliant but I'm still not 100% sold on the new combat system. I'd imagine later this year like at Tokyo Game Show or PSX we will get a release date for episode 1 and a new trailer.

    The pacing will be different for sure, you'll be spending a lot more time there now both in terms of content and the fact you won't be able to continue with the rest of the game for a bit! Hopefully it'll feel similar even if the voice acting etc brings change.

    They announced it at E3 2015, and everyone was blown away (seriously, look a up video of the reveal trailer playing during the press conference sometime). But they seemed to be focusing almost exclusively ob FF XV (which may or may not be very good) this year.
