    If you do have a SD card but it's not working: - Make sure that the SD card is fully inserted. - Wipe it off if it have dust on it so it can properly connect to SD card slot. - Make sure that you've inserted SD card correctly. If all of these methods don't work, you need to call Nintendo Repair Center to get the Wii U's SD card slot fixed. I hope this helps.
