    Those characters are from the carbonite pieces you collect. They are scattered through out the game. I dont know exactly where they are though, I havent collected much yet.

    after you beat the campaign, there are 35 carbonite bricks scattered around several planets, and when opened on D'Quar unlock a character from Ep- 1-6. Go onto my latest posts to see all the carbon characters
