How would you rank the Fatal Frame / Project Zero series, from best game to worst?

Also it'd be lovely to see Fatal Frame 4 on the eShop, ayyy.

    It's very difficult to make a rank, they're all very good. But I think, PZ2 is the best. And next I said 1/4 > 3 > 5.

    Hi Michaël. If you have a Wii, you can play Project Zero 4 with the japanese game, you can find a VERY good french translation on the internet. If you don't know how to do, send me a friend request and I'll explain you how to proceed.

    Ok Oliver ! For me, the fifth is the worst because : It is VERY easy, and in hard mode too It's not as scary as the other PZ games There is NO puzzles, but only walking, battles and documents to read. It is VERY linear. But the story is as good as the others.

    I'd say every PZ game has it's issues because the developer never treated it as A material. The first had a nice scary concept but bad gameplay and many of the ghosts were in cheap spots. Second was a huge ecort mission for a dumb AI, 3 could be called backtracking: the videogame. Plus I can't help but think that the protagonist is the wii fit trainer. 4 has pretty awkward controls and 5 plays

    even worse. The games just unfinished and that's why they never achieve greatness like the early Silent Hill games did. I don't even want to start on how buggy the 3DS game is. Long story short: every instalment is nice and worth playing. But I doubt I'll come back to them as often as I do with SH or even Resident Evil.

    5 has pretty good controls, I'm not sure what's meant to be wrong with them? You just have more control over the camera now, it's a clear improvement for me and the best in the series. I have sensitivity all the way up.

    2>4>5 FF 2 was just awesome. It felt like you were making progress. Liked the location and the characters. 4 was good too, but had this bug that prevented you from completing the ghost list. 5 is ok, but I think it has some design flaws. It also feels like you're doing the same thing over and over again, just with different characters. It can be really frustrating at times.
