Doom 2016

Just completed Doom 2016, absolutely breathtaking. I was on the edge of my seat throughout, my reflexes were tested to the fullest. It's one tough game! Graphics, sound and character models all top notch and all running at a smooth 60fps. Certainly the best FPS ive played in a long time.

    oh nice , definetly one i will get when i get Xoned up this Christmas. More Doom ,but of the doom type- Confirmed by Nintendo in the shareholders meeting, Zelda Wii U is the only WiiU tilte for 2017 at retail from them.

    Nintendo are at Hyper Japan Festival at London's Olympia on the weekend of 15th -17th July. there have a big Yokai watch feature to promote the game and Pokemon Sun and Moon on 3DS and Pokken Tourney on Wii U . Was hoping for a spin on the new Zelda but i reckon their save that for the EGX in Birmingham in September..

    plus there having a Fire Emblem cosplay contest .. as well over the weekend , who knows i may break out my Erika outfit from Sacred Stones . But it is a pain to be dressed up all day when i'm trying to cover the show for the site.. Wearing a long cape in Central London is just not practical on the tube .. lol.

    Yeah sertes I read about that investors meeting. I think the way Nintendo have treated Wii U owners toward the end has been quite disgusting really. I mean, 2 games in 8 months, and they want people to wait for their next console? I love Nintendo, but I do hope a lot of fans wake up and jump ship, because Nintendo can't keep screwing them over like they have been.

    Im going to get Tokyo Mirage, Paper Mario and Zelda BOTW, but Im saying no to NX. I think a generation away from Nintendo will do me some good.

    True Clint if i gt NX it wont be for a while after launch, unlike the past three gens where i have been a day one buyer. That is of course if the UK has a game industry left in the future. Have you read the articles on Eurogamer how they never invisioned last weeks vote? Studios like Rare'Rockstar'Revolution Studios and many others are at stake if Microsoft 'Sony and Ubi shift their operations--

    Don't worry Sertes, I think people are overreacting over Brexit. I don't think a great deal will change, we will still do as much trade with Europe as before. In terms of gaming, the UK market is a major player so I can't see anybody rocking the boat there either.

    Probably true Clint, people need time to put things in perspective, i supposse what worried me is the UK is the second largest market for videogames after the USA , more are sold in the UK then nearly the whole of Europe. Thousand upon thousands of jobs are in the UK games industry , as something that gives us all our relaxation and escapsism i would hate it to suffer as i have been passionate --
