Best way to learn new characters

Hello, I'm fairly new to the smash community... what's the best/fastest way to learn a new character? Should I keep losing against level 9 CPUs untill I improve or should I gradually work my way up? Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

  • to learn new characters I always start at lvl 5 to 7 then work my way up maybe it will work for you

  • try to play as the whole roster until you find one that is your play style or try to learn characters you like from other nintendo games

  • Just use Mario Tennis, put characters in separate categories All-Around Power Speed Technique Tricky

  • you shpuld work your way up to 9 so you can get the feel of it

  • use training mode to get used to all the characters moveset,and try to find one you like.then experiment against low level cpus.then slowly increase the difficulty.good luck!
