Camping?

What's camping in Smash Bros? I know camping is staying on a single spot for the whole game shooting projectiles while safely away from enemies, like in Call Of Duty, but in Smash Bros, I don't know.

    The exact same thing. Except it's in front of the enemies and it annoys them.

    It's basically the same thing in Smash Bros,except online, the player cannot just stay in one spot. Doing so will result in getting disconnected. A common For Glory strategy is to camp ledge

    Oh, so basically its people just hanging on the ledge of a stage the whole time, being to scared to fight on the arena, weird that someone calls me a camper on For Fun even when I'm nowhere near the ledge.
