Miiverse infraction question.

I'll keep this to the point: I've received four Miiverse ToS violations over the past ~year. 1) What determines when this develops into a ban? 2) All these people who bounce back with a new account are presumably breaking ToS. Does creating a new Miiverse account mean creating an entirely new Nintendo ID, and therefore losing access to DLC? Thanks.

  • 1. It's up to the moderator's discretion at what point they go for a ban. 2. You'll need a new NNID for a new Miiverse account. The Wii U can make more than one per console, BUT they made it so if one NNID on Miiverse is banned, all other NNIDs on that console is also banned. If you factory reset, you lose your DLC and your game saves.

  • So if I get banned on my 3DS, my brother who lives halfway across the country will have his account banned on his Wii U? Well, that's just typical, really.

  • I formatted my 3ds its true you can't use your dlc until you reconnect that ID.

  • How awful. If the time comes when I actually become banned from explaining the ToS to people (which is what has lead to three of my previous reports infractions), I guess I'll just quit Miiverse then.

  • How can you shut down parental controls for nintendo 3ds

  • It's in the system settings. The telltale solution would be asking your parents for help.

  • If you and your bro share NNIDs then yes. If your brother has a 3DS NNID synced to a Wii U that has that NNID and he gets banned, so will the whole Wii U. I think. If the Wii U's NNIDs and the 3DS's NNID have no connection, the two systems won't affect one another.

  • It's most similar to the second scenario, I think. Thanks for your help.
