Why Some of These Captain Falcon Players Get Overconfident?

They always think they got the match in the bag when in reality they don't. I defeated this guy twice with Bowser and Ganondorf. He got so salty against Ganondorf's Warlock Punch (Surprised that it connected) that he left. Remember kids. Overconfidence is the greatest enemy. That sentence always hold true!

  • I think they're overconfident because they heard Falcon is on a high tier. Or they simply just like the character's fighting style. You never know from these noobs.

  • just because you are winning now does not mean that you have the match in the bag the other might pull off an amazing comeback that would teach you a lesson wouldn't it i tend to wait until the end if a game before i start celebrating

  • My friend once played as Kirby, and the moment I selected Bowser he asked me if I wanted to lose, but I beat him.

  • Just be careful facing other Falcon players. Sometimes, this post will not benefit your future matches against some more players. I'll believe in you if hard matches happen.

  • @ E-Genius It's understandable when it comes to newbie Captain Falcon players. When it comes to pro Captain Falcon players however, it's a completely different story. And they don't really do nasty gestures, get so cocky, and they're more honorable and humble to play against. So it's a plus!

  • You're right on that. I always appreciate a good match, and respect a player for that.
