    the monado is nothing compared to skells, even monado buster at max lv pales in damage to most skell super weapons the only usefulness it would have against telethia here is purge to get rid of it's spike in phase 2 and soul read in phase 3 (which can only remove the spike and soulread for a maximum of less than 20 seconds)

    Shield and armour would help to. They would reduce damage and negate any talent arts. Plus the ability to see through time is always handy.

    talent arts technically don't exist in x so shield would do nothing, armor would help but telethia regens hp so the most important thing is dps and surviving its spike (i if i remember correctly it's a shock spike so having a resist.SHOCK XX augment nulifies it, much more effective than purging every 10 seconds) and visions realistically wouldn't help too much when it's better to negate damage
