As far as I can imagine, the only lead we have on Marin's material drops would be Zelda, for whom Link mistakes her upon waking up in Link's Awakening. The sprite for Zelda in the Oracle games also resembles Marin's, so there's another pointer. Toon Link's sister Aryll shares her seagull fascination, so I guess there's another possibility. Would like to hear others' thoughts on the matter.
