    You can fight it standing on top of the northern most peak in Noctilum, it flies right passed it; note you ahve to hit it with your skell to make it stop then land and fight it; it can take a few tries to get it to stop in the right place. Also if your first BD doesn't kill it it will fly down to the ground and turn on an ether spike (and you can't then win without ether resistance)

    The "easy" way to kill it is to make as close to perfect an EBD as you can and kill it with the first BD so it never flies down and gets the spike. (Perfect means more than 5 potential augments) The "harder" method is to get armour with ether resistance (you need at least 50 ideally 80+) and follow it down to carry on. (PS you'll need null ether reflect - it has reflect all)

    That sounds like a major pain in the rear. I think maybe instead I'll just grind out one of those silly Ultrafauna Killer Skells instead. Which will be ANOTHER pain in the rear entirely, but one that'll probably be more rewarding.

    It's fairly easy to get armour with enough ether resistance - the reason that method is harder is that the fight is tricky, it's fun though.
