A new idea for a Smash game:

A Smash game that's mainly about SEGA characters and Mario would be a guest of honor.

Plus, Smash games take a LONG time to make, so if this actually happened, we'd probably have to wait for another console generation to get an actual Smash game. You remember when people were angry over the loss of Wolf and Ice Climbers? What happens when you cut literally everyone except Mario and maybe a few others? I know I'd be furious if I didn't get my man Meta Knight back.

But almost the entire roster would be brand new characters you can't play as in ordinary Smash games. Our dreams of Tails being a figher would come true and the game could be called something like SEGA Super Smash Bros..

I doubt many people would be very thrilled to have our entire roster taken out for Sega characters that I'm fairly certain a lot of Nintendo fans have little to no interest in. Again, I'd be fine with adding characters like Knuckles, Chun-Li, Phoenix Wright, and Jeanne to Smash, but when you take away Nintendo, the foundation of Smash, you lose what makes a Smash game a Smash game.

I think SEGA would do a Smash-like game like how they did a Mario Kart-like game but its not a spinoff of Smash.

They could do a Nintendo X Sega fighting game and it could take the best fighters from Smash and some Sega characters. It would be like Street Fighter X Tekken, but play like smash, and exist alongside Smash bros 4.

Again, just make this game in the style of Smash. Don't make it an official entry in the Smash series.

This would be like the Super Luigi U of the Smash series. Sonic is the main character instead of Mario and it still has the exact same gameplay as normal Smash games.

Dude, it has to be a Smash-inspired game. It can't be part of the Smash series. If it was, it wouldn't be able to be on other consoles like Xbox, PlayStation and PC. And I hate to break it to you, but they're big markets who would like the game as well. Again, a Sega-style Smash game is cool, but it CAN'T be a part of the Smash series.

Also there's plenty of SEGA games on other consoles. One that's JUST for Nintendo can't hurt too much.

They get plenty of SEGA games. Also this will make SEGA fans want to buy the Nintendo console so they can play SEGA Smash Bros.. That's a good thing for Nintendo.

You're so selfish, you know that? My system of choice is a PS3 and I would love for this idea to be spread to every main console out there. What if someone wants the game and they don't have or don't want to buy a Nintendo system? Are we gonna leave them in the dust? For the quadrillionth time, the idea is great, just don't make it an official Smash game.

Here's an idea: Mario doesn't neec to be in it. I think the real guest should be Hatsune Miku since Sega publishes her games. This way, the game can be on other systems.

But people would be upset if their main, Mario wasn't in it. Also the game would still have Link, Pikachu, Mega Man, Ryu, PAC-MAN, Cloud and of course Sonic and Bayonetta and maybe the Mii Fighters too.

The Nintendo characters would be treated like guests like how the third party characters get treated in normal Smash games. Also the Mii Fighters are technically part of Smash because they have the Smash emblem and Nintendo should have 3 reps because they'd be the ones letting SEGA have their own Smash game. I'm talking about SEGA Smash Bros..
