If Snake got into this Smash, do you think it would have been rated T?

I don't think ONE character with realistic weapons would cause a T rating. Brawl had a dark tone to it and this Smash isn't dark.

  • Bayonetta didn't do anything to the rating, so why would Snake? I'm guessing Snake was your favorite character in Brawl.

  • As long as Snake doesn't bring those realistic guns and sticks to the explosions, I'm sure he's fine, we've already got quite a few explosives in Smash anyway.

  • Again with the rating thing? It's not gonna change. It does not matter.

  • Melee was rated T because E10+ didn't exist at that time. Snake was the reason why Brawl was rated T because of his weapons and choke hold. They changed Bayonetta a bit to be rated E, but they are close to being T.

  • Brawl's dark lore is the primary reason it was rated T. Snake was toned down well in that game, so I don't think he would've caused a rating increase in Sm4sh. Even if he could've, I don't think a game should have its rating altered by a piece of content that isn't in it by default... Similar to a certain mod for San Andreas, dare I bring THAT up.

  • For Vison: I have to disagree. If Melee got a T rating because E10+ wasn't a rating, then Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker for would have been rated T too and Brawl's dark tone was the MAIN reason it was rated T, Snake just helped make it T rated.

Is it possible, to, oh I don't know, change a game's rating 2 years after it's released? And if you're talking about Snake being in Sm4sh when the game was released, would that affect anything if his moveset was altered to only explosives and no guns, like in Brawl? If Snake were here, nothing would've changed. Just chill, bra.

  • I don't think any of them deserve a T rating. Snake was not in any way offensive, but if he was the reason it was T, then the reason Bayonetta didn't make it T was because at the beginning of every game it says, "Online Interactions not rated by esrb." She is just dlc, so it they don't rate it.
