    of course you're not the only one! i scared of them too! but the country that i live in now doesnt celebrate the 4th of july, so i dont hear any fireworks until.. about november lots of people are scared of loud noises! also one time, my entire street was doing fireworks, and my dad was reading harry potter and the order of the pheonex, this was a while ago, and i have never heard it so... :(

    i also heard my siblings say that my dad went outside, and shouted at the people on my street to put away the fireworks.. but i had been listening to little women or something, on the highest volume, (for some reason) with earbuds so that i could have earmuffs at the same time but i missed several chapters of the order of the pheonex and i was a little dissepointed

    I had that happen to me too. I live in a quiet neighberhood And one day it was quieter than usually. I was chilling outside reading a book by the pool, then BLAM! The firecrackers made me paid 17 dollars to replace the library book.
