To this day I have never beaten Super Mario Bros.

I don't believe in the use of the warp zones or infinite 1-Up tricks by the way. I've even seriously attempted it 3 times now in the past week and only got as far as 6-4. The journey goes on...

    While I disagree about the use of warp zones, I have beaten Super Mario Bros. Deluxe, which is much more forgiving, without them.

    I finally beat it about a year ago, but I did use warp pipes. I also used warping in SMB2 when I finally beat that not too long ago. I've been thinking of replaying that one, just to see what they put into that game. I was a kid when these came out, but I was terrible and could never beat them back then.

    I just don't feel like using it. I'd really rather beat the game the "normal" way. It's more respectable that way.

    Yeah, I understand that. I got Big Boss rank in Metal Gear Solid, but I did it with stealth camo, so it's not really the same thing. I did do a totally legit Big Boss playthrough in Ghost Babel though.
