HOLD ALL COMMENTS TILL POST IS DONE. Ok so there are 100 mini dungeons (shrines) and 4 main dungeons here's how I think the game goes. it's divided basically into 4 main sectors and the 5th is the end. activate 25 shrines for each sector activating the shrines allowes them to recieve a signal which comes from the sector's dungeon activate the dungeon and the signal will be sent. cont. >>>

    once all dungeons and shrines are activated ... I know what the signal is. my prediction is you find the master sword early and each completed sector restores the beaten up master sword once all sectores are active the master sword is completely restored then you go on to beat the boss and win. DONE

    Well I think activating the shrines and dungeons serves both to help contain gannon and restore the master sword. Also that containment fails and thats why the fight happens.

    It's also possible the dungeons are for containment and the shrines little by little restore the mastersword.

    Only 4 temples? Don't think so...I think there will be at least 10 temples. Anyways, as for the shrine themselves, cannot speculate much, but since the monks give you "spirit orbs" it might mean you are retrieving the soul of someone back. Who knows..maybe it's the soul of the hero that got fragmented, once you get them all you will obtain true power or something really magnificent.
