I hate this logic. "OH DADDY SAKUWAI DON'T LOIKE SMASH NO MOAH" Yeah let's just kill off a major Nintendo IP which populated IPs like G&W, Ice Climber, Kid Icarus, Mother and FE. One loss of a Sakurai ain't stopping Smash from moving on. He one directed and quit the Kirby franchise but did that end? Hell no. Smash is a major IP. IT. Will. Continue.

but renember that he did also said that he was gonna quit after melee but then went back. so yeah. sakurai might be lying again.

@Snessy: Okay two important things to note here. Alot of decisions Sakurai made that went against what he SAID would happen isn't really lying but mostly a change of decision. He actually left after Melee which brings me to my evidence of this entire discussion...

Iwata announced Smash Brawl BEFORE Sakurai even knew it was a THING. He wanted Sakurai to direct Brawl so he set up a personal meeting for them to convince Sakurai to return. Know what THAT means? If Sakurai rejected Iwatas offer even though Brawl was announced, do you think Iwata would just cancel the whole thing? NO! He would replace Sakurai. Same goes for Sakurai's position in the next Smash

im not choosing sides or anything but if they made another smash game what system would they put it on.If you notice each smash game is put on a different system except for smash 4 which is on wii u and 3ds just sayin

@vennik i hate to be "that guy" but i believe iwata said that if sakuri did reject it, brawl would have just been a remake of melee with online.but your argument is valid,as iwata still would'nt have cancelled it.

Probably there will or will not since the NX is coming out in 2017 ( Also Legend of zelda breath of the wild) But then how much will an NX be with the smash game if it comes out

Vennek, I generally agree with what you say in your comments throughout miiverse, including this one. But it feels like every comment you make is a complaint about something or another. Not to sound like a jerk but losing Sakurai can have it's upsides. He seems to have a lot of... bias on his opinions. "No story mode, because people uploaded cutscenes on YouTube! Ridley's character is only based on his size! He has NEVER changed size before!" not to mention uner representing series like DK, Zelda, and Mario RPGs while giving FE another 5 characters. Also, "realizeable characters"

Thanks for the reminder Ados. Well THAT'S IT, this was the last Smash rant post i could make. As Smash ends, so does horrific events to complain about, so I can't really make more post about the stuff i relied on. I'll still be here with posts that make sense (since half of Miiverse posts don't) but don't expect anything that rants on the Smash fanbase (unless something else happens)

@ Jack Fire Emblem WOULD be getting over represented, if it wasn't for it being declared a major IP by Nintendo, on the Nintendo News website! So if it's a major IP, that puts it in the same playing field as Pokémon, The Legends Of Zelda, as well as Super Mario Brothers! AND YET! While it DOES get 6 fighters, it is the ONLY major IP in Smash that has 1 battlefield! It's hardly over represented.

Getting back on topic: Pokémon was meant to end at generation 2, but has continued to the production of generation 7, and dominated mobile phones across the globe... Fire Emblem was officially meant to end at Awakening, then Fates happened and revamped the entire series with it's branching story and 'home base castle', etc. Yeah; regardless of any prior plans, Smash is FAR from finished!

What I'm getting from this is Daddy Sakurai might be leaving Smash's development after this one, but that doesn't mean Smash Bros. is over. I mean, it may go down OR maybe up in quality and quantity, (AKA Less or more characters) but Nintendo would never let their Melding Pot franchise go after just 5 games; nor will they force Sakurai to make more. They'll move on, just like all people do.
