    They're anime characters (Unless you count Yellow version...). Tbh, the closest I think we'll ever get to a human rep. in Smash is Pokemon Trainer, and he didn't actually fight. Jesse and James as brawlers sounds really weird and out of place to me.

    Ash Ketchum will get into Smash before those two do. Anyone else who watches the Pokémon anime will know why. The Pokémon trainer idea was very creative, but it was cancelled (and probably won't return) because trying to use several movesets in one fight can be really difficult. Though; seeing as we have Pikachu as a fighter, our Meowth assist trophy may receive a promotion to fighter status!
