not even joking i just dropped my 3ds and the top came loose from the bottom, parts of it chipped off im in shock rn, luckily the 3ds still works not sure what to do

    That happened to my DS Lite. Once, the top screen came all the way off except for the wiring. Now the top screen has a blue tint and you have to hold it instead of letting it kinda lock into place. It still works tho.

    Yeah I have to hold it in place now, and yes the top screen does work, its only the hinges that are busted, I put some electrical tape over the hinge after I wiggled it back in place. So, I am planning to get a full shell replacement, I already looked at the prices for the full shell, and it should be around 15 - 20 bucks. Thanks for the support.
